The Board is All About Referrals
The primary goal of The Board is to grow member businesses by passing qualified referrals. In addition, the group provides business networking opportunities through regular meetings and special events.
There are many ways to grow a business, but the most tried and true is word of mouth. We spend time getting to know one anothers’ businesses both during meetings and at one-on-one networking with other members.
Meetings provide a chance to tell other members what we are looking for in a given week and therefore what to listen for. Our members are quick to hand out business cards or phone numbers to those people looking for a type of product or service offered.
It’s not that we constantly tell personal and professional connections about other members – just that we keep our ears open for opportunities to help make links between members and potential customers.
